These two met back in high school in 2002. Melissa was a sophomore and Anthony a junior at the time. They became good friends that first year, started dating the following year and have been inseparable ever since!  Fast forward to today; nearly 15 years later, they are very clearly an incredible match for each other and are now officially a Mr & Mrs… ugh, it’s stories like this that just completely melt my heart. The Proposal

From her:  “We took a tram up the San Jacinto Mountain in Palm Springs in the late afternoon on October 23.  After the ride up the mountain, we walked down the backside only to hike back up the mountain to the area we had taken pictures before a few years back in the snow.  The area we had hiked up to over-looked the desert valley.  We took a few pictures then Anthony suggested we move back a little to get a better picture of the valley behind us.  I was first to walk forward while holding onto Anthony’s hand.  Then I hear “Melissa,” I turn around and Anthony is on one knee holding an engagement ring.  He proposed, I said yes and we had the moment all to ourselves!  It was romantic, personal and so quiet.  Just our moment to share and remember to ourselves!”

The Lautner Wedding

Their beautiful wedding took place at The Lautner in Desert Hot Springs and it was the perfect backdrop to their gorgeous day.  The entire day was very laid back, chock-full of love and shared with only their closest friends and family.  Despite a “little” wind (which we had some fun with the photos!), the day rolled out beautifully and I couldn’t be happier for these two.

Congratulations again, Melissa and Anthony!  You two are so thoughtful, kind and just absolutely adorable together.  It was such an honor getting to capture your big day and I just know you’re going to have the most wonderful marriage!  Wishing you so much love and happiness!
