Over the past year, from the planning process, to their engagement session and through their wedding day; I have had the great honor of experiencing just how sweet, funny and loving these two are.  They are absolutely perfect for each other and I’ve felt so honored getting to know them and being trusted to capture their love story.

Their plans initially went from getting married somewhere here in California, to switching it up and planning a small wedding on the beach in Mexico, to instead finally finding their dream venue here at Rincon Beach Club in Carpinteria, CA.

The Wedding Day

The day started at the Ritz in Santa Barbara, a beautiful location to start the most beautiful day!  When Hannah got ready, everyone was breathless – she looked absolutely stunning in her strapless Wtoo wedding dress (from Della Curva).  I am still obsessing over it… she looked like a goddess, just wait and see!

We then made our way to the venue, where one of my favorite moments of the day happened: their First Look.  In anticipation of seeing his bride, Matt got so emotional he had me tearing up!  Then Hannah slowly walked up behind him and gently tapped him on the shoulder.  Matt took a moment, took a deep breath and slowly turned around to find her beaming at him.  She was glowing.  Matt looked back at her with so much pride and love on his face, it was the absolute sweetest moment.

Rincon Beach Club offered them exactly what they wanted; a ceremony on the beach and a beautiful space for their reception.  And it wasn’t just your typical beach, with the ocean on one side and beautiful green mountains on the other – it was a stunning spot for a wedding!

The evening ended with some hilarious and sweet toasts from their closest friends and an awesome dance party.  It was the perfect celebration for this beautiful couple!
