These two lovebirds met back in June of 2014 while performing in a production of “Annie Get Your Gun” together at the Attic Community Theater in Santa Ana.  Insanely enough, Maddie admits that: “Before I even met him, I saw him walk across the room (and this is gonna sound super corny), but I just had a thought in my head that said, “what if you married that guy”… I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW HIS NAME!”  It is so crazy how things pan out sometimes… little did she know that they would soon develop a strong “show-mance” and 4 years later would be walking down the aisle to say their “I do’s!” at their beautiful Hangar 21 wedding!

The Proposal

Before we dive into the wedding, let’s quickly throw it back to their proposal… take it away Alfonso:

“Back in August 2016, I woke up one morning and realized that I didn’t want to ever wake up without her by my side again.  It was then that I made plans and began saving for the engagement ring and proposal.  For the proposal, I decided to surprise her at her birthday dinner the next year!  We spent the day in Long Beach and stayed at the Queen Mary that evening.  Our families were both invited to the dinner and EVERYONE knew about the proposal except for her.  I have no idea how everyone kept quiet about the whole thing, but they did!  I proposed (I don’t really remember what I said) and she said ‘YES!!'”

The Wedding Day

At last, the big day!  There is a lot that I could say about this one-of-a-kind wedding.  From the Star Wars decor to the epically unique helicopter grand entrance.  From the heartfelt and adorably amusing vows to the jam-packed dance floor all night.  And from the endless sea of smiling faces to the uproarious laughter you could hear echoing throughout the hangars.  I don’t think anyone could have imagined a more perfect day for Maddie and Alfonso!  It was unique and filled to the brim with the most important things and people in their lives and I am just so honored to have been the one there to capture it all.  So I’m going to just let the photos do the rest of the talking… as all you have to do is look at their faces and you’ll be instantly transported to their most magical day.
